i just took a preg test today and the first line was dark and the second dark was a little lighter but it was for sure there. ive been cramping the last 2 weeks, but the test was positive. what do i do next? i dont have insurance.

    • Jack says:

Have you tried applying for medicaid?

    • Congratulations! I think that the first step would be to make an appointment with a gynecologist to confirm your pregnancy. They usually like to see you first around 8 weeks. Then from there you can talk with them about the next steps to take, and how you can get the care you and your baby need. Good luck!!

I remember the first time we used a pregnancy test and we’ve got positive! Our feeling was mixed! I was thinking then, what if its’s false positive so what we did is go to an OB. As first time parents, we can be really excited then. So she just gave me instructions to continue my folic acid intake and repeat the preg test after 3 days. But what we did out of excitement was to buy different kinds of pregnancy test kits. And the funniest thing of all was when my husband used one of the kits to prove to me that it will have one line (of course!) if he used it! Hahaha… We’ve been trying to conceive for 2 months then and getting a positive result after 3days of missed period made us a bit crazy!
